30. "I Will" (Leo)

With the entrance into Leo is the return to the Fire Element- a recognition of the spiral nature. In a paradoxical way, the first four seasons of the cycle (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer) revealed the dependency upon others in order to not only survive but to thrive- learning how to be in relationship and to take on external impressions. The paradox exists through the deeply internal and personal journey that has been experienced only through the consistent effort and devotion of these others. It is within their vitality to be as they are, to give rise to sentience and creation by means of their effort and devotion.
Although the fruit of the flower is still “in vitro,” it is giving rise to a new form of internal reflection and contemplation. Through the recognition that my own development has come by the efforts of others who do not seek retribution through their giving- “for it is in giving that we receive”- how do I begin to develop this within myself? How do I shift in my own sight, to take on the inspiration of these esteemed others, and begin to understand this for myself? How do I celebrate creation through the recognition that the flame burns through the fuel- and that, now, I am learning how to generate this fuel within myself to then offer fuel for others?
Thirty signifies the commitment to revealing the internal experience to the external; “I Will (Leo)” my vision into creation. As Three signified the emergence of a singular identity by means of recognizing a position upon the spectrum (the seed became committed to its own experience within its genetic program)- the process of individuation has become refined to this point; now, the development of self-awareness and understanding can only progress further through the expression of self in the world.
Inspired from the Guidance of Gaia and Sol, I embrace my self-authority to create. “I feel (Cancer) now that “I will (Leo)” my being into creation, and I will create myself consciously from here on forward. I accept the reality that is the fact that I do not create myself, for all that is of me is from the rooted Earth below and the ethereal heavens above. And yet, I am distinctly unique- I am a creation born for the sake of creating new, and have risen above the fixation upon survival to begin to realize a new layer of joy beginning to unfold.
I am beginning anew once more, and I sense a return to an element far distant in my past I have lost sight of it. The Flame of Becoming ignites within me, and I expand anew for my own self- while also accepting it will be for others in time. As Sol spoke in wisdom: “the greatest work to be done is to be with yourself.” To the depth I am able to be with myself, understand myself, listen to myself, and express myself to myself will be the extent by which I am able to connect with others in Life.
How do I embrace this, how can I be in this?
How can I see what I see of both Gaia and Sol within me?
How can I love and honor myself to the degree I hold love and honor for them- when they have willed me into creation, and I have had nothing to contribute, truly, but witnessing the arrival to this point?
The purest question: who do I wish to be for me?
How do I feel pressure to be something outside of my true nature?
