20. Solar Plexus: Discernment
Everybody wants to recognize decay as a natural and necessary function within Nature- but only for as long as it applies to external structures.

Simple enough, yet seemingly lost in modernity: a “yes” is a “no” to something else; a “no” is a “yes” to something else. A “yes” is a “yes” for as long as it is, until it then becomes a “no;” a “no” is a “no” for as long as it is, until it then becomes a “yes.”
There exists a fine-tuning of the depth of a “yes” or a “no” in a similar fashion to the dimming function of a house light. As with the dimming function, so too with all within personal discernment: there are gray areas between fully “on” and fully “off.” There are seasons through Life, rotations through new that remove what was previously identified with; it seems common place to recognize the reality of decay, but it seems that is is common to desire this reality to be only for those structures outside of personally-constructed (and personally-confining) comfort zones. Then, as the Laws of Nature reveal their patterns, decay seems to be some personal attack (because of the personal identity with the constructs)- to then generate some righteous indignation that there exists some enemy causes this decay who must be brought to justice immediately so predictability/security/ stagnation/comfort can be restored.
Twenty signifies the decision-making progress that is generated through discernment. As two signifies the emergence of tension points to maintain a system, and zero signifies what is recognized to exist yet is non-existent in the present, we can see how this begins to relate to the current development within this series analogy regarding the emergence of the sprout into the dynamic world, beyond the secure confinement of the womb (the Earth). How this relates to the emerging sentience that can only be experienced through the interfacing with knowledge that exists outside of the self, beyond personal experience. Language!

In a similar fashion to dreams experienced do we experience the generative force of language to create internal visions. A pink polar bear; a spinning helicopter; a mailbox: you can easily see these concepts, but they do not exist within the words. They exist within some realm of experience, no doubt, but it is delusional- in the true sense of the word- to give power to these words over the self in their capacity to conjure imagery.
It is one thing to read the words, to visualize these things, and then to become hysterical because they have become hyperfixated within the mind as if they now dwell there; it is another thing to avoid such imaginative words, having battled such intense grapplings with hyperfixation, living life ever-vigilant at the risk of such imagery coming to impregnate itself into the mind for eternity. Regardless of the “yes” or the “no” in this circumstance, the words hold control and power over the individual.
It is one thing to read the words, to visualize these things, and then to exercise the imagination for the sake of enjoyment and playfulness; to see them as toys in some sense, to generate a story that- once concluded- concludes the imagery. It is another thing to read the words, to visualize these things, and then to simply observe the occurrence to move on with life without fear or concern- knowing that this is simply how the mind functions, recognizing that there is a faculty within the self that sees and generates vision, simultaneous to the sight and vision as processed through the eyes of the physical environment surrounding self.
These are just simple examples (a pink polar bear; a spinning helicopter; a mailbox) for a complex concept when considered in relation to the nature of decay, compounded by the forces within fear and desperation, to pervert the creative impulse within the imagination- to then generate a modern mythology entirely separate from the truth of the nature surrounding, polluting the vision of life by means of hysterical projections.
How our enemies turn to friends and our friends to enemies!
"That's a ..." Made me laugh.
