No Tension, No Growth.

Six signifies the relationship with tension to grow. The seed, born into the fruit of the previous cycle’s harvest, dormant in the earth until its season, becomes animated. This speaks into the process which was set into motion with “2. The Organism Prism.” If two signifies the emergence of tension points to maintain a system, six is the experience of this tension through the relationship with it.
Aries, the initial spark that begets a new cycle, becomes an unknown being to produce unknown fruit that will come in an unknown time. The seed, awakened into self-awareness, does not hold a concept of where it is or even what it is; it is simply learning the relationship with existence (to exist) and what it is to be within this biological design.
This initial spark of Life within the seed is not seen from the external, for it is has not expanded fully within itself to break free of its own boundaries- the protective layer that has allowed for it to endure through the winter and become activated. That is to say: Life exists within the seed prior to the sprout being evidenced: a process of growth and development is occurring within the seed. This initial spark is the Origin of Spring: for it is true, much growth and development had to take place before the flower, before the sapling, even before the spout has come to be known. How many seeds come to live and die within this process without any evidenced expression rising into the world?
There is a purpose and a sacred function within Ego in the preservation and maintenance of self-identity. There is growth, strength, and confidence when a healthy relationship with “self-centeredness” comes to be understood and embodied. For, if the seed does not come to identify as a unique component distinguished from the soil in which it is encased, it will never come to be in its own distinction, will never meet the destiny of its own design: to provide for all in universal communion through its self-fulfillment and self-creation.
In this way, the same pressure applied to the seed to ensure its safety and security (the soil) is also the tension by which the seed must exert energy to extend roots into the density, to then begin to press upwards- without any sight of what is occurring or if there will be a point of release. But there is a sense that there will be: the memory that is written within the genes, passed from the fruit which grew from the seed of a previous cycle.
