15. Rising Into Relation
Everything Changes, Nothing Changes.

Nothing changes, everything changes. As Fourteen signified the celebration of monotony (the acceptance of tedious tasks required to ensure a quality of life), Fifteen is the point of acknowledgment. As Five signifies action, and One signifies the step towards knowledge- despite the lack of knowledge in how to apply it functionally, the seedling- in its allowance to rest and accept what was otherwise a sense of overwhelm- has come to break through the soil. With one push of the roots deeper, the head of the seedling acts as if a spring released from compression.
The Earth comes to meet the Air as the upper crust of soil gives way- transitioning into yet another dimension of existence. There is a sense of something new becoming in this living experience, but there is no knowing of what it will be. And yet, despite this, there is still a sense of confidence that has never died- the Spark that has continued to expand and to give rise has also rooted into the self-assured sense that all is well, all is in accordance with the natural progression. Just as there was a pressurized sense within the seed prior to the release- giving rise to a new sense of euphoria, expressing the seedling- euphoria is realized again with the emergence of the sprout- a new lightness, no encapsulation or pressure, paired with the first meeting with the Sun. “Why worry, why doubt, why fear?” -what are these concepts to a being of such innocence that dialogue does not yet exist outside of the self?
Development at this time has been from one protective boundary being overcome to another. The concept of communication has not yet been engaged to this point: the process is in a state of coming to understand the nature of Self, the relationship with the Voice (Initial Spark/Fire), and the relationship to the womb (Earth) it is contained within. No longer pressurized! And yet, a new sense- exposure and vulnerability. Who said, “Why worry, why doubt, why fear?” What is the next threshold from this point? Am I simply repeating a pattern, of expanding out of a container into just another container? Is this what Life is to be? Surely, there must be more than me in this; there must be more to this than me.
