12. “I Have” (Taurus)

Responsibility and Accountability Start in Relation to Our Intimate Surroundings, Understood to be an Extension of Self.

Twelve signifies the emergence of self-responsibility in relation to needs. As One signifies the step towards knowledge- despite the lack of knowledge in how to apply it functionally- and Two signifies the emergence of tension points to maintain a system, Twelve reveals the reality to exist within the physical: we need to be in relation with the external world in order to sustain and develop the internal world. This is the formation of habits and behaviors in order to establish the foundation of self and identity with the intimate environment surrounding.

Expanding out of the seed, the origin is all but forgotten as a new sense of being has taken hold; still yet to break through the top soil, this progression of self-development is very new- yet, there are still components of predictability. There is confidence, a sense of assurance that challenges are there to be explored; shock is not to be feared, but to be experienced and to be expanded through. In this current state, there is no work to be done beyond expanding and exploring the cool depths of density below, and the warmer heights above. In this, the self unknowingly begins to explore the reality that is polarity. Both serve their purpose while holding their own tensions: the density below follows with Natural Law (gravity) but needs force in order to sink the roots deeper. The spaciousness above challenges Natural Law (gravity), but the weight becomes less with each incremental pulse upwards, coinciding with each pulse downwards- equal and opposite.

These two distinctly unique components of self are not seen as different at this early phase of development, paired with the lack of spacial awareness. The upwards-facing shoot does not serve a purpose as of yet, and yet is the miracle within the creative/chemical process. As the roots descend, absorbing nutrients to nourish the self- anchoring the self as it explores the simple curiosities now that the shock has long been alleviated- the shoot rises in relation to the depths now known, felt to be now in possession and assumed ownership.

Witness the early phase of creation: to be in the joy of becoming, for in truth it is all that “I Have” at this time, moving through this space afforded me. Have patience- enjoy the process. New elements have yet to be met- elements that will change the understanding of the design and the function. As with roots, be in the process of settling into stability- into the early phases of creative expression that come as a natural consequence of simple joy and curiosity.
