Ten signifies the initiation of self-expression through the recognition that survival is a part of life. In this way, Death becomes an element in the conversation with Life. If Zero signifies what is recognized to exist yet is non-existent in the present (Death, now that life has emerged from the seed), and One signifies the step towards knowledge despite the lack of knowledge in how to apply it functionally (self-expression, now that life has emerged from the seed): what is the relationship with survival?
One represented the “Root” as an energy center, culminating in the emergence of the physical root (according to this series)- to then birth into the initiation of self-expression, which is still “below the surface.” The roots continue to descend down, associated with genetic memory, and begin to extend outwards, associated with (what is not yet recognized) communal engagement and enrichment. Ten represents the “Sacral Center:” the orange, slow-burning embers born from the initial spark ignite the raw material rising from the root to be utilized for a tangible form. This upward growth is slow relative to the outward extensions of the roots at this time; yet, this upward growth is more substantial relative to the small threads which exist to be the roots.
This energy learning to be absorbed through the roots is the raw (primordial) energy that must be harnessed and allowed to ascend into the higher energy centers for the development of the infant child into maturity- into refined and distinguished beauty. The Sacral Center is the womb: the point of distinction between the descending roots and ascending growth. It is where the “Inner Child” is always maintained within its (his/her) “innocence,” the reminder of where this existence truly began. The “Inner Child” is not the same as the “infant child.”
Early on in development of self outside of the “seed,” there is more of an identification of self with this “Inner Child” because of the simplicity of development paired with the continuous protection and care (the Earth surrounding, and the instinctive process of the roots to be receiving/extracting nourishment from the soil). At this point, the shock that came as consequence of this release from the seed is being buffered- in this shock, there is yet an understanding of the Earth being the womb space for the self, and for all others (who are yet to be recognized). There is little stimulation or engagement beyond the extension of the roots, the relating to the soil, and the sense of pressure which is upon the emerging upward growth. In this way, there is more space and time granted to listen within self and reflect. In this initial shock exists the Initiation, birthing the recognition of initiations.
Your "Sun Said" mandala is insanly amazing! Great work. Well done, artist soul.
When I started reading it I thought it would be quite a lot to unpack/understand but you made it nice and simple!
