14. Self-Assurance
In such instances, the true "Act of Resistance" is not through desperation- but through restoration.
This is the 15th posting in a series of 73, released every 5th day in 2025

“STOP RESISTING!” - sounds the Voice, the voice which listens but waits to speak only in silence. In this rare occasion, however, the Voice was also recognizing its need to grow. Just as the seedling was feeling 13. Bondage, so too was the Voice. The Seedling has been riding momentum, fully consumed in its own sentience and individual experience, distracted from remembering where this sentience and individual experience emerged from. Up to this point, even the seedling’s growth and development was being directed by the Voice; relationship is a tricky balance in the genuine pursuit of collaboration and connection: when to give, when to take? When to offer, when to receive?
Fourteen signifies the celebration of monotony, the recognition of routine and patterns that form the foundation of behavior. As was made evident in 4. Rooted Right In: “as individualization takes place, which is an action unto itself, the individual then recognizes personal action is necessary to build momentum in this direction.” As individualization comes to develop, patterns layer over patterns- this has been the process being learned since 10. Sacral Center: Initiation.
It did not take long for the seedling to become overwhelmed in the pattern of continual growth; it was easy, enjoyable, and empowering when it was all freely afforded without any personal effort required. But, as was realized in the frustration through 13. Bondage, a new pattern needs to be incorporated into the routine: THE ABILITY TO REST, RECOVER, AND TRUST IN THE IMPULSE TO DO SO.
The seedling does not realize it, but its sprout is pressing against the upper crust of the soil; soon it will break through, but it does not realize this. The seedling does not realize it, but its roots are entrenched into density- it has been relatively easy to arrive to this, but it is almost impossible to make progress through it at this time. This density- although hard to move through- is also the anchor point by which growth upwards can develop. As is said in physics: “for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.”
“STOP RESISTING!” is the call from within to acknowledge that the energy has been able to get to this point, but the energy as it is cannot break through this point. Strength and Power is developed through the ability to recover and restore- an art and science within itself! This process is a ceremony, an investment into self-assurance. It is okay to feel stuck and bound, without anywhere to grow or to pivot; in this position, the TRUE ACT OF RESISTANCE is not through desperation, but through restoration. This is where Trust grows.
