When looking at intricate patterns very closely, including sacred geometry, the ordered and harmonious qualities can easily become overwhelming- seemingly chaos due to the lack of perspective for the whole. As we, the human collective, are progressing forward in our understanding of both knowledge and relationship, we are coming to understand new aspects of both Time and Space. Why is the Moon traditionally tied to fate and fortune? How do we understand this in relation to Natural Law, without being enmeshed within diminished elements of the human condition- desiring to pervert this relationship for the sake of advantage over others, fueling the Survival Complex and furthering this divisive delusion?
The Moon, as is known, travels around the Earth in a 28 day cycle; during this transit, she spends about 60 hours in each sign of the Zodiac. There is much to expand upon in regards to the nature of the Moon and the spiral journey from the North Node to the South Node, among other aspects- including her influence upon the tidal forces on Earth and the general effect she has with each individual psyche.
As has been within the progression of this series, the seed is coming to understand the nature of relationship within and without itself. Within this is the relationship with both concept and substance and how there seems to be a gradual cumulative process through direct experience which ultimately leads to a transformation of understanding by means of addressing tension. This tension is consequence of the gradual cumulative process; it is natural and an indication of healthy development- it becomes unhealthy when it is perverted to be seen as an agent of distress, decay, and destruction. The Moon cannot become more full than the Full Moon; within Natural Law, this is the point in motion which the Moon is directly opposite the Sun in relation to the Earth. The Moon cannot become more empty than the New Moon; within Natural Law, this is the point in motion which the Mon is directly conjunct the Sun in relation to the Earth.
This is true within each lunar cycle, and it is also true in the sense of the Nodal Cycle. Due to the fact that the Moon spirals around the Earth, there are two points in this cycle where the Moon aligns with the Sun perfectly- consequently, we experience two Eclipse Seasons each year. The North/South Nodes sit across from each other, rotate counter to the rotation of the Sun (Aries → Pisces, for example, versus Aries → Taurus), and sit within each sign for roughly 18 months before shifting to the next. These nodal points are in relation to the Sun/Earth axis; although the Moon cycles through all signs in a 28 day period (as mentioned), it is only when the Sun is at these points that we experience eclipses. It becomes more complex when factoring degrees, resulting in partial eclipses, and sometimes because of this there can be more than two eclipses per Eclipse Season.
This is an example of astronomy: these are objective truths that are factual, consistent, and measurable. It becomes subjective through astrology due to the intimate nature of the subject itself. There are many factors which influence how a person is effected by the moon: their personal natal chart, the relationships which involve them, the environments which surround them, etc.
Due to this complexity, it is the blessing and the curse within astrology: in one hand, this delegitimizes astrology as a concrete science (distinguished from astronomy); in the other hand, this reveals the true nature of astrology as the initiation for a human to rise into direct and personal relationship with the cosmos. For, in truth, to know the self is to know the stars; and to know the stars is to know the self. “Sapiens Dominabitur Astris,” a dual translation: “Wisdom Rules the Stars;” and, “The Wise are Ruled by the Stars.” If one waits for some external authority to legitimize the internal experience, one will never stop waiting.
Twenty-Three signifies the rise into the relation with Emotional Intuition. As “Two signifies the emergence of tension points to maintain a system” and “Three signifies the emergence of a singular identity by means of recognizing a position upon the spectrum,” so begins the integration of the Moon into the Seed’s Psyche. As was the first sentence, “when looking at intricate patterns very closely, including sacred geometry, the ordered and harmonious qualities can easily become overwhelming- seemingly chaos due to the lack of perspective for the whole:” there exists a quality of the self which is able to recognize the pattern and where it is leading according to the current trajectory. It is for the self to discern what holds the authority, and what law is superior; which law structure develops and encourages growth and development, and which law structure establishes doubt within self, generating dependency due to fear and uncertainty.
